The AAVP Club

The Anime, Arts, Video Games, and Poetry Club was founded by five students at Greenville Weston High School (which is currently Greenville High School) in March 2014. Their common interests of video games, anime, arts, music, and writing brought them together as one club. At first, they didn't know what to name the club so they decided to name it The Anime, Arts, Video Games, and Poetry Club. Starting in high school, the founders experienced their fairshare and suffering of bullying and isolation by their fellow peers but their love for their interests helped them to combine their ideas together. The club from just 5-6 members to more than 20 members. Although the club was short-lived in the 2013-2014 school term, they wouldn't let the club die down so they started the club again in the 2014-2015 school term.

Victoriously, they succeeded within their goals of becoming an approved club at their school. In December 2014, a few members payid their vows to their city by serving community service. Also, in December 2014, they also achieved their goals of going to an actual comic convention. On May 16, 2015, they created their very own comic convention for the first time in their town's history. Although, they were successful, a group of four young boys stole the money saved for the convention. But for next year's convention, they will be stronger than ever.
